Proudly family-owned, family-operated, and onward to our second generation, we at Inventiv Software liken ourselves to a wine and spirits company that specializes in software, rather than a software company that specializes in wine and spirits distribution. We established our roots in this industry prior to company co-founding in 1998. Inventiv had its genesis during our president and co-founder’s decade of working for two highly regarded wholesale distributors, in which he responded successfully to the call to action to simplify and streamline the wine and spirits industry for sales reps and sales managers. This market has served us well; in fact, as of September 2019, our company has been old enough to drink.

With more than 31 years of experience, Dave Rea has spent his entire career developing software for wine and spirits wholesalers and distributors across the country. The lead designer on all of Inventiv’s programs and apps, he first got his start as the Director of IT for Forman Bros. Inc. and Forman Dist. Co. of Va. in 1985. Dave has two sons with his wife Amy, all members of Inventiv. Dave splits the year between New York City and Memphis, TN.
As Chief Operating Officer, Amy oversees finance, accounting, human resources, and strategic planning. Prior to Inventiv, she worked at New York Magazine and Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City, before selling computers at Businessland and Zenith Data Systems in the Washington D.C. area. Amy splits the year between New York City and Memphis, TN.
After graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree in philosophy, Remy joined Inventiv in July 2017, based in New York City. Remy served as our Creativ Director for several years, in which he rebranded the company and continues producing all digital and printed marketing material. Remy also handles all finance, assists with the management of sales accounts and customer face time, leads company event planning, and is our customer ride-along liaison in the field.
Before joining Inventiv, Peter, a Florida State University graduate, gained 7 years of valuable experience in the restaurant industry, before he made his way to Georgia Crown Distributing Co. since 2008 as their Sales Analyst, a novel position which he created as a result of his business acumen, as he served as a liaison between sales reps and IT. Currently, Peter is focused on improving customer relations and maintaining a thorough grasp of customer interests and concerns by leading our internal support meetings. He leads future sales and is expanding our interest into new industries. Peter is based Atlanta, GA.
